The Mekarsari Fruit Garden developed several jackfruit cultivars, such as Telanjang, Mini, Bubur, and Dulang. These cultivars are categorized according to their fruit characteristics. Many kinds of jackfruit cultivars available, but the study of leaf anatomy from different jackfruit cultivars has not been conducted. This research aimed to investigate the anatomical characters of several jackfruit cultivar’s leaves obtained from Mekarsari Fruit Garden. Samples were taken from three trees for each cultivar with three repetitions. Paradermal and transversal sections were made from the fourth leaves of each branch. The paradermal section showed that the epidermal cell had an irregular shape with straight to strongly sinuous anticlinal cell walls. Stomata were hypostomatous with anomocytic type. There were two types of trichomes: non-glandular and glandular trichomes. There were no leaf anatomical differences in all observed jackfruit cultivars. This is due to overlapping range values of the anatomical character among the four cultivars. However, leaf anatomy can be used to distinguish jackfruit cultivars from nangkadak hybrid cv. Bola.
