99mTc-pertechnetate is useful for various cancer treatments but it should be provided with information on dose to the human body. This study aims todetermine the estimated dose of 99mTc Pertechnetate radiopharmaceutical in children aged 1-15 years. This
research was carried out based on the mice biodistribution test with time intervals of 0.5, 1, 3, 5, 24 hours after radiopharmaceutical injection. From the biodistribution test results, it was obtained that %ID/gram of mouse organs was converted to %ID/gram of human organs. After that, the calculation results were inputted into the OLINDA/EXM software by observing the differences in effective doses for children aged 1-15 years. Based on the value of %ID/gram of human organs, each uptake activity at post-injection time intervals resulted from the highest organ is muscles, liver, lungs, and stomach. The results of the comparison of effective doses of OLINDA/EXM using t animals and t humans show that an effective dose value was smaller than after being converted to t humans. The average absorbed dose from the highest organs in OLINDA/EXM is in the thyroid, stomach, and lungs. Effective dose results obtained for 1 year is 1 year 9,07 × 10-3 mSv/MBq, 5 years 5,78 × 10-3 mSv/MBq, 10 years 3,82 × 10-3 mSv/MBq dan 15 years 2,41 × 10-3 mSv/MBq. The effective dose generated is greater for younger patients
