Nothaphoebe Blume merupakan salah satu marga dari suku Lauraceae atau suku Medang-medangan, dan berada di dalam subgrup Persea bersama-sama dengan marga Alseodaphne, Dehaasia, Persea, Phoebe. Informasi mengenai keanekaragaman Nothaphoebe di Sumatera, khususnya di Provinsi Lampung belum pernah dilaporkan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui karakter morfologi dan jenis-jenis dari marga Nothaphoebe yang berasal dari Lampung. Karakter morfologi yang diamati meliputi ranting, bentuk daun, bunga, dan buah. Hasil karakterisasi morfologi menunjukkan bahwa terdapat lima jenis Nothaphoebe dari provinsi Lampung, yaitu Nothaphoebe falcata, Nothaphoebe foetida, Nothaphoebe macrocarpa, Nothaphoebe magnifica, dan Nothaphoebe umbelliflora. Kunci identifikasi jenis, deskripsi masing-masing jenis dan peta distribusi disajikan dalam artikel ini.
