Expansion of Costus Diversity: Documenting the Occurrence of Six Newly Cultivated Species on Java. Floribunda 8(1): 1 – 10 — Six additional cultivated species of Costus have been documented from Java, Indonesia: C. comosus var. bakeri, C. erythrophyllus, C. osae, C. pictus, C. productus var. productus, and C. stenophyllus. These species were intentionally introduced from the Tropical Americas to Java for ornamental use. Our findings bring the total number of Costus species recorded in Java to 15.
