As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • 1. Naskah yang diserahkan ke Naditira Widya adalah karya tulis asli penulis di atas, tidak sedang dipertimbangkan dan belum pernah dipublikasikan di jurnal atau media lain;
  • 2. Naskah yang diserahkan ke Naditira Widya merupakan hasil penelitian dengan kontribusi seluruh penulis di atas dan disampaikan secara jujur sesuai dengan kaidah ilmiah;
  • 3. Naskah yang diserahkan ke Naditira Widya untuk diproses, ditelaah, dan dipublikasikan telah sesuai dengan gaya selingkung dan author guidelines, bebas dari plagiasi, fabrikasi, falsifikasi, duplikasi, fragmentasi, dan pelanggaran hak cipta data/isi;
  • 4. Naskah yang diserahkan ke Naditira Widya telah menggunakan program manajemen referensi seperti Mendeley, Zotero, EndNote, atau lainnya;
  • 5. Selama proses penelaahan, naskah tidak akan kami tarik secara sepihak dengan alasan apapun;
  • 6. Penulis bersedia memperbaiki naskah yang telah ditelaah;
  • 7. Naskah tidak mengandung SARA dan pernyataan yang berpotensi melanggar hukum;
  • 8. Penulis bersedia membayar article processing charges (APC) yang telah ditetapkan dan dibayarkan setelah naskah dinyatakan diterima (accepted).

GUIDE FOR AUTHORS

 General instructions

  • The manuscript is a research result, theoretical study or a research of archaeology-related disciplines and or Indonesian culture;
  • The manuscript is an original paper which has not been published, and contain no plagiarism, written in Indonesian or English;
  • The manuscript is typed in Arial Narrow 12, single spaced on A4 size paper
  • The manuscript consists of 6000-10,000 words, including references, tables, and images;
  • The manuscript should be submitted via Naditira Widya website: ejournal.brin.go.id/nw Please contact the Editorial Board via jurnal.naditirawidya@gmail.com with regard to further information on manuscript submission.

 Manuscript organization (see ‘manuscript template’) 

  1. Title;
  2. Author's name and address(es);
  3. Abstracts and keywords;
  4. Introduction;
  5. Research questions and methods;
  6. Research results and discussion;
  7. Conclusion;
  8. Acknowledgments (optional);
  9. References;
  10. Appendices (optional)

 Title

  • The title should be written concisely and reflects the contents of the manuscript, and typed in bold capital letters in Arial Narrow 14;
  • The title is written in Indonesian and English.

 Author’s name and address(es)

  • Complete name, without title, and written below the title of manuscript;
  • Multiple authors are written separated by commas (,) and words 'and';
  • The address(es) is the author's affiliation(s), and written below the author(s) name(s), along with e-mail address(es).

 Abstract and keywords

  • Abstract is written in Indonesian (maximum 250 words) and English (maximum 150 words);
  • The abstract should describe substance of the manuscript, including research questions and objectives, research methods, results achieved, and conclusions;
  • Keywords (3-5 words or phrases) are written in Indonesian and English.

 Appendices (tables and figures)

  • Tables and figures do not exceed 20% of the total manuscript pages;
  • The table number (Arabic numerals 1, 2, 3, etc.) and title is written at the top left of the table, in bold Comic Sans MS 9;
  • The title of the tables is written in normal Comic Sans MS 9;
  • The source of a table is written below the table, left side;
  • Figures, graphs, plates, maps, and diagrams should be written as ‘Figure’;
  • A figure is positioned at the centre of a page;
  • The source of a figure is written below the figure, left side;
  • The figure number (Arabic numerals 1, 2, 3, etc.) and title is written in bold Comic Sans MS 9, and written below the source of figure;
  • The title of the figures is written in normal Comic Sans MS 9;

References and citations

References and citations are written alphabetically by using the ASA Style Citations 4th edition (2010).
