Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The manuscript is written in English (British or American, used consistently throughout the text) and is free from grammatical and punctuation errors. It is recommended that non-native English authors have their manuscript proofread.
- The manuscript includes an abstract of 150-250 words and three to five keywords that reflect the main topics covered in the article. Short biographical notes for each author will be added after the peer review process.
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
- The text is single-spaced and uses a 12-point Times New Roman font. Italics are used instead of underlining (except for URLs).
- All headings and subheadings are organized with a clear hierarchy, using no more than three levels. Bullet points and numbered lists are minimized to keep the text clean and readable.
- All illustrations, figures, and tables are embedded within the text at appropriate points, not at the end of the document.
- Where available, URLs for references have been provided. The reference list follows the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
- Authors’ names are listed without academic degrees. If there is more than one author, the primary author’s name appears first. For team-authored articles, author names are ordered alphabetically. Only the primary or first-listed author will be contacted by the editors.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- If the manuscript is being submitted to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, authors have followed the Ensuring a Blind Review instructions to maintain anonymity during the review process.
