Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Journal of Language and Literature Preservation Guidelines


The manuscript submitted into journal of Journal of Language and Literature Preservation must fulfill the following conditions below.

  1. The manuscript is never published and do not submitted to the other publishes party.
  2. The manuscript is in form of research results or conceptual ideas about language and literature scope.
  3. The manuscript is in Indonesian or English, 18 -- 20 pages, typed on A4 paper, Times New Roman, font 12, space 2, upper and lower margins 3 cm, left and right margins 3,17 cm.
  4. The manuscript written systematically, such as: (a) title; (b) author's name (without academic degree); (c) origin of the institution; (d) abstract (maximum 200 words) in English and Indonesian; (e) keywords (3 – 5 words/phrases); (f) format of Research Result: INTRODUCTION (Background, Problem, and Purpose of writing), THEORETICAL FRAMEWORK, METHOD, DISCUSSION, CLOSING (Conclusion and Suggestion or implication), REFERENCES; (g) the format of Conceptual Ideas: INTRODUCTION, CONTENT, CLOSING, REFERENCES.
  5. The table description is placed above the table concerned avoiding vertical lines, while the image description is placed under the image.
  6. The manuscript is sent using OJS system through website of MABASAN to http://mabasan.kemdikbud.go.id
  7. The editorial of MABASAN opens the opportunity to the general public (researchers, lecturers, teachers, and other professionals) to submit the manuscript corresponding to point (4).
  8. The certainty of acceptance/rejection of the manuscript can be seen by online system.
  9. The editorial has authority to manage the publishing period and the writing format according to rules which have been determined by MABASAN.
  10. References are arranged alphabetically and chronologically by following procedure.

      References should be referenced in terms of the last five years (specially  journal) and at least

      ten references minimum.
