Peer Review Process

Indonesian Journal of Materials Science (JUSAMI) is an international journal published by Center for Science & Technology of Advanced Materials - National Nuclear Energy Agency of Indonesia. The research article submitted to this online journal will be double blind peer-reviewed (Both reviewer and author remain anonymous to each other) at least 2 (two) reviewers. The accepted research articles will be available online following the journal peer-reviewing process. Language used in this journal is English (starting in 2019).

For checking Plagiarism, Editor of JUSAMI will screen plagiarism manually by using several plagiarism detection software (Crosscheck by Ithenticate and Grammarly). If it is found major plagiarism indication, editorial board will reject manuscript immediately.

Review Process:

• Editor recieves manuscript from author;
• Editor evaluates manuscript (journal aim and scope, in house style, supplementary data); (Rejected if not meet criteria)
• Editor screens for plagiarism on online database manually; (Rejected if found major plagiarism, contacted author if found redunancy or minor plagiarism for clarification)
• Editor sends manuscript to reviewer along with review form (double blind review, Both reviewer and author remain anonymous to each other);
• Reviewers send back their review form to Editor (with revised manuscript if necessary);
• Editor gives decision (rejected, require major revision, need minor revision, or accepted);
• Editor sends confirmation to the Author. If revision, author revised manuscripts and should be returned to the editor without delay. Returned later than three months will be considered as new submissions.
• The author meets the editor's request as soon as possible.
