Asia is expected to become a world economic leader in the next few years. However, the well-being of Asian people remains a challenge that needs to be faced in development. This study aims to analyze the impact of government spending efficiency, perceptions of corruption, exports, Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) inflows, and labor force on GDP per capita as indicators of economic well-being in Asia in 2012-2016. The analysis methods used are data envelopment analysis (DEA) and panel data regression. The result shows that government spending efficiency, corruption perception index, exports, and the number of labor force has a significant effect (5% significance level) with a positive direction of influence on GDP per capita, while FDI inflow s have no effect.
