Abstract

Creative economy is a potential sector that can be a source of renewable economic growth as a solution for the government to prevent the slowing down economy. Export from the creative economy indicates a good result. Export is also one of the components to count Gross Domestic Product (GDP). That means the rise in export from the creative industry will increase the economic growth from the creative economy, which may lead to the increasing of economic growth as a whole. The objective of this paper is to know the impact of the creative industry to GDP growth from the creative industry. In order to get creative economy export in 2019, we forecast creative economy export using the ARIMA model. The result showed that ARIMA (0,1,1)(2,0,1)12 is the best model to get creative economy export 2019, which is 20.87 million USD or there is an increase in creative economy exports of 0.70 billion USD from 2018. The additional value of creative economy exports is equivalent to 15.54 trillion rupiahs. Using Input-Output analysis table of creative economy, it is obtained that the additional creative economy exports of 15.54 trillion rupiahs will provide an additional creative economy GDP of 7.81 trillion rupiahs. Hence, the creative economic growth in 2019 will be 0.71 percent. Unfortunately, this creative economic growth is smaller 0.38 percent from 2018.
