Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Indonesian Journal of Aerospace accepts submissions of original research articles covered by the scope of this publication. Manuscripts submitted to the IJoA should comply with the publication ethics. All submitted manuscripts should be original and should not be submitted to other scientific journals for consideration while under review. No part of an accepted manuscript should be duplicated in other scientific journals without the permission of the Editorial Board. If duplicate publication related to papers in this journal is detected, the names of the authors will be announced in this journal, the authors’ institutes will be informed, and the authors will be subject to restrictions on future publications in IJoA.

Manuscripts submitted to IJoA should adhere to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements as described in the manuscript template.

Submissions, reviews, and editing processes are conducted in the Open Journal System. Authors are required to register and log in to the system for those processes.

Once manuscripts are submitted, they will be reviewed by two or more experts in the corresponding field. The Editorial Board may request authors to revise the manuscripts according to reviewers’ suggestions. The Editorial Board will make a final decision on the approval for publication of submitted manuscripts and can request further corrections of the article text if necessary.

Publication in the IJoA is free of charge. Every article submitted will not require an Article Processing Charges (APC). All the publication processes from manuscript submission, peer-review, and editorial process until open-access publication as well as maintenance and archive will be covered by the Government budget.
