Authors who wish to submit manuscripts should pay attention to the points below.
Journal of the Indonesian Society (MI) accepts manuscripts that are the result of research, conceptual ideas, book reviews, and other types of scientific writing. Manuscripts can be written, both in Indonesian and English and using good and correct grammar.
Authors who will submit a manuscript (article submission) must first register online and independently on the "register" menu on this electronic journal site. If you find it difficult, you can contact the MI Editorial Secretariat at email: journal Masyarakati@gmail.com. There is no charge for online registration.
After being registered, login first, then upload the script online through the OJS MI website until it is successful (active submissions).
The submitted manuscript is an original work that has never been published in print media or other electronic media, and must be in accordance with the MI script writing template that has been provided. After uploading the manuscript, the author waits for confirmation from the Editor in Chief or the editorial secretariat regarding the status of the author's manuscript.
The contents of the article follow the writing system which is structured as follows:
The title is written in Indonesian and English. The title must reflect the content of the article, be specific and consist of 10-15 words.
Abstract and keywords in Indonesian and English. Abstract is written in one paragraph with the number of words between 100-250. Abstract content describes the essence of the overall content of the writing. Keywords consist of 4-5 idiomatic words or phrases.
The introduction contains justification for the issues raised in the article, relevant previous studies, the purpose/objectives of the article, and the methodological aspects used.
The discussion contains an overview, analysis, argumentation, and comparison of authors. The main part of the article can be divided into several sub-sections, the number of which depends on the issue/aspect discussed. The title of the subsection can also be adjusted according to the discussion.
The closing contains a discussion of the important things from the findings and conclusions.
References are divided into: books; journal; reports and papers; newspapers and websites. Reference writing guide can be seen in the template. Sources of citations or reference materials at least 10 publication titles. No references are allowed that are not mentioned at all in the text. Primary references and up-to-date references (published in the last 10 years) are at least 80% of the entire literature.
tables, figures or graphs must be read clearly and the title of the table is placed above the table, while the title of the figure or graph is placed below the figure or graph and is accompanied by the numbering of the table/picture/graph. As long as there is no confirmation or notification of the status of the manuscript (continued with the review process, the manuscript is accepted, or the manuscript is rejected) from the Editor in Chief or the editorial secretariat, the author is prohibited from sending his published manuscript to another journal (confirmation or notification of the manuscript to the author, a maximum of 3 weeks since the manuscript is received by the editor or editorial secretariat).
The editor has the right to change the writing format and title of the article in accordance with the writing instructions, as well as the publishing time setting.
The author is subject to the provisions and decisions of the results of the review of the manuscript by the Editorial Board or the Reviewer of Masyarakat Indonesia.
