Indonesian Polymer Journal (Majalah Polimer Indonesia/MPI) is peer-reviewed journal in Polymer research. It publishes original research in all areas of polymer science and technology including synthesis and polymer reaction, polymer process and composite, polymer characterization, functional polymer and development, and polymer for energy and environment.

Scope of the Journal

MPI welcomes high-quality original research articles, reviews, and short communications that contribute to the understanding and advancement of polymer science. The journal covers a broad spectrum of topics, including but not limited to:

  • Polymer Synthesis and Reactions: Innovative methods in the synthesis of polymers and studies on polymerization mechanisms.

  • Polymer Processing and Composites: Research on processing techniques, fabrication of polymer composites, and their applications.

  • Polymer Characterization: Advanced techniques for analyzing the physical, chemical, and mechanical properties of polymers.

  • Functional Polymers and Development: Design and development of polymers with specific functionalities for targeted applications.

  • Polymers for Energy and Environment: Studies focusing on the role of polymers in energy applications and environmental sustainability.

Publication Details

Since its inception in 1998, MPI has been committed to publishing articles that meet rigorous scientific standards. Starting from 2016, the journal has been published in English to reach a broader international audience. MPI is published twice a year and is managed by the Indonesian Polymer Association (HPI).

Audience

The journal is intended for researchers, academicians, industry professionals, and policymakers engaged in the field of polymer science and engineering.
