BACA : Jurnal Dokumentasi dan Informasi is committed to maintaining the highest standards of editorial integrity and objectivity. To ensure that our scholarly content remains free from commercial influence and to prevent any potential conflicts of interest, BACA : Jurnal Dokumentasi dan Informasi does not accept advertising in any form, whether in our print issues or on our official website.
2. Editorial Independence
The rejection of advertisements is a deliberate policy intended to guarantee that all editorial decisions and the peer-review process are based solely on the scientific merit, relevance, and quality of the manuscripts. No commercial entity or external sponsor has any influence over the selection, evaluation, or publication of the research presented in this journal.
3. Separation from Sponsorships
While the journal may receive institutional support or research grants (as disclosed in our Funding Statement), such support is strictly separated from the editorial process. We do not publish "advertorials," "sponsored supplements," or any promotional content disguised as scholarly research.
4. Direct Marketing Policy
Any direct marketing activities conducted by the journal (such as Call for Papers or table of contents alerts) are strictly non-commercial and are intended only for the promotion of the journal’s scientific mission. We do not share our authors' or readers' data with third parties for marketing purposes.
5. Policy Review
This advertising policy is reviewed periodically by the Editorial Board to ensure it continues to align with the best practices of scholarly publishing and the COPE Principles of Transparency.
