Peer Review Process

Every paper manuscript received by Journal of Aerospace Technology must be driven into three stages of peer-review process.

The 1st stage is carried out by the Editor in Chief. He determines whether the manuscript fits with the journal aims and scope.

The 2nd stage is conducted by a Section Editor who is appointed by the Editor in Chief. The Section Editor examines manuscript on the basis of their subject expertise, including the structure and substance of the paper.

On the last stage, Section Editor assigns a number of potential reviewers (usually 2-3 reviewers) to provide double blind peer-review. The review covers comprehensive assessment, content quality and novelty, originality, and plagiarism element indication. The reviewers shall submit their peer-review report to the Section Editor. On the basis of the submitted peer-review reports, the Section Editor decides the manuscript to the following recommendation:

  2. Revision required
  3. Resubmit for review
  4. Decline submission
