IBU KOTA NUSANTARA (IKN) DAN REDISTRIBUSI SOSIOSPASIAL: PERSPEKTIF GEOGRAFI KRITIS

Artikel ini menjelaskan redistribusi sosiospasial yang terjadi selama proses pembangunan Ibu Kota Negara (IKN) Nusantara. Meskipun baru melewati tahap pertama yang diekspektasikan selesai pada 2024, pembangunan IKN telah menuai kritik dari berbagai posisi. Orientasi penelitian ini adalah produksi ruang yang lebih memperhatikan aspek di luar sekadar kepentingan kapital. Metode penelitian ini mencakup analisis kritis terhadap konflik konseptual-geografis antara visi pemerintah mengenai pembangunan kota dan pandangan berbagai kelompok masyarakat tentang keadilan ruang yang terpetakan dalam 16 tema utama pengembangan wacana tentang IKN. Melalui pendekatan geografi kritis, penelitian memetakan masalah-masalah keruangan yang dihasilkan oleh pembangunan IKN serta menganalisis ketimpangan serta ketegangan sosiospasial yang sedang terjadi. Hasil penelitian ini mengindikasikan beberapa implikasi. Pertama, implementasi redistribusi identitas non-sentralistik dari ruang kota IKN. Kedua, representasi kebijakan menampakkan ketergantungan kepada simbolisme politik. Ketiga, alam dipandang sebagai komoditas baru dalam pembangunan. Terakhir, ketidakpastian berbagai faktor eksternal dalam memengaruhi tata kelola ‘Kota Dunia Untuk Semua’ di masa depan.
