Manuscript submissions must adhere to the following guidelines:

  1. Type of contribution

Review articles are typically written by invitation, but systematic literature/narrative/descriptive reviews may also be considered for publication.

  1. Submission preparation checklist

Before submitting, authors must ensure their work complies with the following criteria:

  • The manuscript follows the writing instructions provided in the manuscript template (download file).
  • The manuscript is formatted as a Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) file, containing at least 4 pages of A4 and not exceeding 15 pages (including figures and tables). 1. Declaration of generative AI use

The use of generative AI should be stated in the manuscript upon submission.  The potential of generative AI and AI-assisted technologies (“AI Tools”) should be used responsibly (to synthesize complex literature, provide an overview of a field or research question, identify research gaps, generate ideas, and provide tailored support for tasks such as content organization and improving language and readability). AI technology should always be applied with human oversight and control. Ultimately, authors are responsible and accountable for the contents of their work.

  1. Funding sources

Authors must disclose any funding sources who provided financial support for the conduct of the research and/or preparation of the article. The role of sponsors, if any, should be declared in relation to the study design, collection, analysis and interpretation of data, writing of the report and decision to submit the article for publication. If funding sources had no such involvement this should be stated in your submission.

It is not necessary to include detailed descriptions on the program or type of grants, scholarships and awards. When funding is from a block grant or other resources available to a university, college, or other research institution, submit the name of the institute or organization that provided the funding.

  1. Declaration of competing interests

All authors must disclose any financial and personal relationships with other people or organizations that could inappropriately influence or bias their work.

Authors with a journal affiliation to declare should be stated in manuscript.

  1. Plagiarisms policy

All submissions are screened using plagiarism detection software (e.g., iThenticate or Turnitin). Manuscripts showing significant similarity (generally above 15%) will be returned to the authors for revision or rejected outright. Instances of plagiarism, fabrication, or data manipulation will result in the rejection of the manuscript and may lead to notification to corresponding author(s). By submitting a manuscript, the authors acknowledge and agree to abide by this policy.
