Correction and Retraction Policies

At TAMBO Journal, we are unwavering in our commitment to upholding the highest standards of scholarly publishing. We recognize that, on rare occasions, errors or inaccuracies may come to light in our published articles. In such instances, our Correction and Retraction Policies have been established to maintain transparency and uphold accuracy.

Correction: Should minor errors, omissions, or the need for clarifications become evident in any published work, we will promptly issue corrections. We strongly encourage authors to reach out to our editorial office, providing substantiated evidence for any necessary amendments. The corrected version will be clearly marked, while the original article will remain accessible for historical reference.

Retraction: In exceptional cases where significant errors, ethical concerns, or instances of research misconduct are identified, we may contemplate the retraction of an article. Our retraction process strictly adheres to the guidelines stipulated by COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) and international best practices. The grounds for retraction will be transparently disclosed, and the article will be withdrawn from public access. The retraction procedure aligns with the Retraction Guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), accessible at https://publicationethics.org/files/retraction%20guidelines.pdf.

Our objective is to safeguard the integrity of the academic record while ensuring the availability of accurate and reliable information to our readers. If you ever have concerns regarding the content of a published article, please do not hesitate to contact us, and we will take the necessary steps in accordance with our Correction and Retraction Policies.
