Annales Bogorienses (eISSN 2407-7518 | pISSN 0517-8452) is a peer-reviewed Journal that is published biannually in the middle of the year (June) and in the end of the year (December). The journal focuses on life sciences with emphasis on biofilm-associated infection, drug discovery (antimicrobes and antibiofilm), food safety, food borne pathogen related biofilm, and environmental biofilm.

The journal was first published in 1955 by the National Biological Institute. From 1996 to 2020, the journal was managed by the Research Center for Biotechnology, Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI). Since 2021, it has been managed by the National Research and Innovation Agency of Indonesia (BRIN). Initially, the journal focused on basic and applied sciences, particularly in agriculture, health, and industry. In 2004, Annales Bogorienses shifted its focus to life sciences, especially biotechnology, molecular biology, and biochemistry. In 2021, the journal expanded its scope to include bioinformatics and bioengineering. In 2025, the journal collaborates with Research Collaboration Centre for Indonesian Biofilm (PKR Biofilm Indonesia) and expanding the focus in the field of life sciences with emphasis on biofilm-associated infection, drug discovery (antimicrobe and antibiofilm), food safety, food borne pathogen related biofilm, and environmental biofilm. 

Annales Bogorienses is currently published in English, open-access, and managed by the Directorate of Repositories, Multimedia, and Scientific Publishing, BRIN, since 2022. It has been accredited with a Science and Technology Index (SINTA) Score 2 (S2) for 2020–2025 (Decree of the Director General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology No. 158/E/KPT/2021, issued on December 9, 2021). The journal is indexed in SINTA, Garuda, Google Scholar, ISJD, OAJI, Infobase, DAIJ, CiteFactor, and CiteULike.
