Review Policy

Jurnal Penelitian Hasil Hutan uses an online submission and review system. The submission and peer review of each article must be managed through this system and based on the following Peer Review Policy.

Selection of Papers

The Editorial Board of Jurnal Penelitian Hasil Hutan is responsible for ensuring that the peer-review process is fair and timely. The selection of papers should be based on the scientific quality of the content, with topics clearly aligning with the journal's focus and scope.

Selection of Reviewers

The Editorial Board will select reviewers with appropriate expertise in the field and will carefully review any disclosures of potential conflicts of interest. This ensures that there is no potential for bias in the review process.

Research articles are typically reviewed by at least two independent reviewers. If necessary, the Editorial Board may seek additional opinions by adding a third reviewer, or more, as required.

The Editorial Board must adhere to best practice guidelines provided by the publisher to avoid the selection of fraudulent peer reviewers.

Review Process and Transparency

The review process will evaluate novelty, objectivity, methodology, scientific impact, conclusions, and references. The reviewers' comments will be sent to the corresponding author for necessary actions and responses. The Editorial Board will assess the reviewer's comments and, based on the reviewer's recommendations, send the final decision to the corresponding author.

All communications between the Editorial Board, authors, and reviewers will be conducted through the electronic submission system, and Jurnal Penelitian Hasil Hutan will use plagiarism screening via Crossref Similarity Check powered by iThenticate.

Confidentiality

The Editorial Board of Jurnal Penelitian Hasil Hutan will protect the confidentiality of all submitted materials and communications with reviewers. The identities of the authors and reviewers will remain confidential through a double-blind review process, where reviewers are unaware of the authors’ identities, and vice versa.

Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest

The Editorial Board will adhere to the journal’s policy regarding the disclosure of conflicts of interest by authors and reviewers.

Authors and reviewers will receive full support and guidance from the Jurnal Penelitian Hasil Hutan Editorial Board throughout the publishing process.
